Seyria Smiley
CEO & Program Coordinator
I was born and raised in Fayetteville, N.C., and at the age of 15, I set my sights on attending The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. In 1991, I made that dream a reality. Despite facing academic challenges, I was determined to succeed and worked hard in school, even making the difficult decision to leave my childhood friends during my senior year of high school to live with family. This sacrifice allowed my father to avoid out-of-state tuition fees.
After Ohio, I spent much of my adult life in Denver, Colorado, where I built a career in finance and welcomed my two wonderful children, Breon and Rudii. In 2010, I returned to North Carolina and found my passion while working in the Cumberland County school system. That role was the most fulfilling job I’ve ever had; working with children brought me immense joy, and I saw the positive impact I could have on their lives. Unfortunately, I had to leave due to low wages, but that experience reinforced my commitment to making children a priority.
In 2016, I relocated to Georgia with my amazing husband, and together we started a transportation company in 2017. While the business has been successful, my passion for helping children has never waned. Over the years, my husband and I have dedicated our time and resources to fostering children's growth and development.
In 2023, we were inspired to expand our efforts and make a more significant impact on children’s academic, social, and emotional development. Having grown up without a biological mother and not being the strongest academically, I created Rudii's Image as a way to help other children achieve their dreams, regardless of their circumstances.
Anthony Smiley Jr.
CFO
I am originally from Miami, Florida, but I moved to Statesboro, Georgia at a young age. From an early age, I've always had a strong work ethic and began working shortly after. I attended Georgia Southern University for a brief period, but ultimately, college wasn’t the right path for me. Despite that, I've consistently put in hard work throughout my life.
My passion for children grew from my own experiences and the mistakes I made as a young man. I believe my story can inspire young people to make positive choices and embrace the value of hard work. My children have witnessed my dedication to hard work, integrity, and humility. As a successful entrepreneur, father, and husband, I strive to demonstrate that success doesn’t solely come from being an athlete or entertainer. While the entrepreneurial journey is challenging, the rewards can be significant if you maintain faith in God and a strong sense of self.
Though I wasn’t raised with my biological father, I had a solid support system and intentionally surrounded myself with like-minded individuals who shared equally ambitious dreams.

On January 31, 2023, I was awarded an Army Achievement Medal (AAM) for my exemplary service while stationed at Fort Polk, Louisiana.
In addition to my military responsibilities, I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in forensic psychology at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). My long-term ambition after my military career is to become a forensic psychologist in a behavioral analysis unit or to work as a Department of Defense civilian in the Criminal Investigation Division (CID).
